Commando

With nice graphics, an amazing Rob Hubbard soundtrack and instantly addictive gameplay, Commando could’ve been the perfect arcade conversion. Sadly, it was five butties short of the picnic.

Spent hours on that with my friend on his A500. Later on I was playing C64 version as well. It was really good!

Deliverance

Stormlord's sequel contains saucy graphics, great music & more varied gameplay - with one level inspired by Asteroids! What's not to like?! It’s challenging - to say the least - but, as with most Hewson games, it’s a quality title.

I almost forgot about #DOScember! I should angle a few pics that way for the month. So, here are some computers that can't run DOS that actually CAN run DOS... with add-ons. Included are the #Macintosh128k, #Amiga1000 and #AtariST. Original #IBMPC thrown in too.

Stormlord

This horizontally scrolling platform/run & gun game has beautiful graphics, cracking tunes & tricky but rewarding gameplay. Highly polished & superbly presented (the Hewson hallmark), it’s a well-made & highly enjoyable game.
