I forgot we get fucked out of an hour of sleep tonight until I tried to math out why I was only getting 6 hours of sleep between 1:30 and 8:30. Oh well, I’m gonna be too sore to do anything tomorrow.

First day back at pole since 2023 and I had a blast and didn’t die! I did forget most of the names of my spins though, but they’ll come back!

I forgot how good it feels to work out. It may be hard to get there, but I never regret going to the studio, even when it kicks my ass!

A appropriately massive rejection of this administration's policies would require a proportional retribution that the people of this country don't have the stomach for.
The Republican party has no shame and zero sense of hypocrisy, while Democrats are in constant fear of being punished by Republican voters and corporate donors for even suggesting that things could be different. The best we can reasonably hope for is a "return to the old normal".
The way the Democrats keep trying to court voters from the right while alienating those from the left, I fully expect them to do a "no hard feelings, let's reach across the aisle" and nothing to come of it, just like with January 6th. I don't trust there will be any consequences for Republicans.
I mean, I hope that's the case, but my optimism has been dead for quite a while now
I hope that one day they'll be tried for war crimes, but I think we all know that the best case scenario is that we get them out of office and then absolve them of any consequences in yet another failed push for "unity".

The fact that my SIL, who for the longest time would not get her labs checked for fear of needles, was able to make the switch was quite an endorsement
