idea: they should return to the EXP All item that gen 1 had, and then make the EXP Share a held item at the same time. that way you have more control over how you gain experience
swsh did it so weirdly. not letting you, the player, take care of certain things and handing that role to leon and some of the other adult characters, and then suddenly and haphazardly pushing the plot at you all at once even though it's supposedly about you and hop's respective journeys as trainers
even though i see them every time i open my profile because they're literally my banner, i haven't seen any new fanfics about them. maybe i should take it upon myself to be the one who puts out a bunch of oneshots between ash and chloe (and maybe a longer, multi-chapter fic)

has anyone else noticed that setting the button mode in FireRed & LeafGreen on Switch to L = A causes the emulator input mappings to set to a nearly completely different layout? it becomes:
ZL/ZR = B
Minus = Start
Up/Left/Down/Right = Start/Select/B/A respectively
Right Stick = Up/Left/Down/Right
knowing the attitude of the emulator's dev, it probably won't be long until the important things are all added
continuing from last night, hit 151 SRs and still nothing. from now on until i reach that sparkle, i'll post each milestone of the last dex number of each generation, which means the next time will be 251 SRs
no mention of clownmdemu? it's more recent than blastem, but i *think* it might have good audio emulation at least
my only complaint is that it renders at 720p on switch 2, in practice this means the pixels look slightly soft due to the upscaling to 1080p
