Interesting side effect of modern OCR systems just *being always present*. It used to be that if an image was a hyperlink you could long-press it to open in a new browser tab. Now, if the image has text on it the phone just gives you text controls instead and you can’t open the link in a new tab.

While you can see the product still existing it’s hard to say if the parts of code you personally modified are still the same.
Almost all products I worked on 10-15 years ago are still around. But it’s hard to say if there’s any lines of my code in there.

Also, the inflation figures they quote are based on very large selection of goods and services, and when you only select grocery prices and rent the figures are always significantly higher. And these two are always the most impactful.

The GDPR-mandated data exports that FB and others provide are available via their controlled UI only and take hours / days to process. It’s all done to prevent real-time “data out” scenarios. Otherwise, alternative UIs a-la Windows Phone would be possible.
WinPhone UI worked because there were APIs providing data for that UI. You used to sync FB, Twitter, Google data onto your contact list on your device. All these APIs are gone now. Every service lets you upload your contacts to them, but not get them out. Likewise, feeds aren’t available anymore
HTC came very close on integration side on Android, and Palm Pre did somewhat decent job on webOS. Years later FB, Twitter, Google, etc. pulled the rug under them, because “they wanted to control the experience”, and all these integrated systems fell apart.
No one came close on UI front.
The door has two plaques. The top one says: “Administração” and the bottom one says “Warning. Fart Zone. Enter at your own risk.”

Now, some people take their fictional attraction too far, and start bringing their obsession with the character into their daily life. This is where weird things like body pillows with that character printed and other questionable things may come into play.
A waifu would be character in that fictional universe that the fictional you would be dreaming of getting together with and hopefully getting married and creating a family in future.
Ah, ok. Here’s how I understand it. Say, you’re a fan of some entertainment franchise (a game, a tv series, etc). Now imagine you were a character within that fictional universe. The real you, your memory, your family, etc wouldn’t exist and wouldn’t influence your decision making.
The correct question is: “Who’s you waifu, Aman-san?” uwu
My bird is still around locally on a phone but I dread the day I’ll be forced to upgrade.

Kiruna is a fascinating city in that it's being slowly moved 3 km away from its original location, building by building, or you could even say brick by brick.
Having been here couple of years ago and now again, it makes for some really interesting disorientation 🤪
