The Constitution is clear: Congress decides on war. When a president uses military force without authorization and Congress stays silent, they are abandoning their role as a co equal branch of government. War is the most serious power our government has. Shame on the U.S. Senate today.
Americans are dead. Prices are skyrocketing. The Middle East is on fire. Civil war is brewing in Iran.
And for what? A war that will leave the same hardliners in charge? A war that can't actually destroy their nuclear program?
This is incompetence. Plain and simple.

It just upsets me because so many assume "same or milder symptoms" means nobody should wear a mask or take precautions. I have doctors who know how sick I am, roll their eyes when I ask them to take precautions for me or my child.

I am doing everything I can to not get another infection because my one and only Covid infection has led to pretty severe Long Covid and I am just barely capable of still working. I narrowly avoided the ER last time. I don't think I could handle a repeat even if milder.
