The plan, quite obviously, is to restrict the age to 14 when it's too late for puberty blockers to do anything and then use that as evidence that they are ineffective. Transphobic policy based evidence making.
An extremely important reflection on the new draft safeguarding guidance - really useful to listen to help construct our (much-needed) responses to the consultation. Statements being made which massively concern trans children's wellbeing and safety in school

New Zealand has banned puberty blockers (of course only for trans kids), until the UK completes their PB trial in 2031. A trial that has still not started. A trial that may never start. A trial that is unethical and will not meaningfully add to the evidence base.
