@MrEricSully holding his print copy of the book "The Eclipses Effect" the day it was published.
I'm excited to own "The Eclipses Effect". I met Deb through an @aas.org grant. My own eclipse story is told in the book. It is not only for science enthusiasts, but for anyone wanting to learn about networking & leadership. I can say that extraordinary events forge friendships & launch leaders.
Russia Local School students will get to learn STEM through the βAthletes and Academics- STEM through Sportsβ thanks to the OSLN STEM Grant Program, funded by Battelle.
Last year's freshmen βΎ players came up with the idea and we looped others in from there. The grant practically wrote itself.
Enjoying my conference & excited for what's to come! @regeneron.com @society4science.bsky.social

Two plaques reading: Presented to ERIC SULLENBERGER In Appreciation For 10 Years Of Dedicated Service To The RUSSIA LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 2014-2015 and Presented To ERIC SULLENBERGER In Appreciation For 20 Years Of Dedicated Service To The RUSSIA LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 2025
My 20 year plaque. If you told me back then that I would still be at this rural school where they don't even know how to pronounce the name right π I wouldn't have believed it. Now my oldest is graduating on Sunday & my other daughter just finished her last of two required classes with me yesterday.
As a PAEMST Finalist, I got invited to an alumni event with the Ohio School of Falconry yesterday. Unfortunately our slow-mo flight videos didn't turn out, but we got some great photos nonetheless. I took Abigail as my guest and she's very photogenic. The program educating and entertaining.
Fri my plaque from NSTA-Shell arrived! This is the 3rd time I've made it to the semifinalist round (Top 10 Nationally).
I also found out last Fri that I'm an OH Finalist for PAEMST (Top 3 in OH for Secondary Science). Tonight I submitted my addenda for Nat'l judging for PAEMST (Top in each State).
Lessons Learned From Solar Eclipse Citizen Science in Rural Ohio baas.aas.org/pub/2024n9i041
This is the 3rd professional article that I've written or contributed to, but the first that I've done solo for such a professional publication. It's my first paper with its own DOI Number.
I just finished my presentation Wright State University's Learn Local Conference. I partnered with the OSLN's Dayton Hub to share about my grants. I was able to share my smart telescopes & Vernier sensors. And I put on my SciStarter Ambassador hat to promote off the citizen science.

I'm with Russia Local School's #FIRSTLEGOLeague #fllchallenge Team at our District Tournament/ Regional Qualifier. Tradition dictates goody hats & a team selfie before competition.
