Delighted to host the next generation of teachers coming through from Roehampton University today @threebridgessch.bsky.social where they delivered great Computing workshops to 5 of our classes with the theme βHidden Voicesβ learning about the contribution of POC in WWII. #decolonisedcurriculum
The beginning of another busy week at Three Bridges! Here are a few of the things we're looking forward to.

We finished up another terrific term with a staff breakfast, before heading out for a fantastic final day with our children.
It's always worth taking a bit of extra time to share our gratitude for this amazing team.

They gave presentations and answered questions from grown-ups and children about their chosen roles.
Dr Hannay reads a biography of himself, by a young writer in Year 5.

Y5 Computing Careers Week is well under way! Weβve had a visit from a garden designer, who taught us about how she uses CAD to plan the gardens, a virtual tour of the Amazon Fulfilment Centre and a talk with banking professionals. Tomorrow is technology in Music. If you canβt see it, you canβt be it
Today Y5 learned why it is important to have diverse people working in Computing.We discussed βBiasβ& how the data sets that are used to train AI could be unfair.
We found out about Dr Joy Buolamwini & her work.
We used machine Learning for Kids to train our computer. π‘ moments all around! Awesome!
