5 rejected offers later we're under contract on a house!
Agency!
I know this standard format is good because my immediate thought after finishing the tournament was "damn, I really want to play another match"
Proud of you :)
Finished Richmond 10-5. Nothing super impressive but my first decent finish with a stock deck and I'm pretty proud of myself for winning with cards other people knew the text on.
After spending all evening crushing Davin's bad deck he crushed me in the tournament with his good deck.
That's the agency baby!
How I feel day 2ing at 6-3 with lessons surrounded by homies that 7-2d or better with mono green.
5-3 at SCG Richmond meaning the inevitable 5-4 record with lessons is Extremely Live.
This all makes sense to me. Unfortunately spellementals has horrible vibes so 5-4 lessons it is.
I agree that cool but rude seems very good especially in that deck which was close to good before. Unfortunately I do not have time in the next 3 days to do a ton of work and source cards.
Just beat Ral ult at 2am. No man has ever been more back then I am right now
Tell me what to play
If someone handed me a golgarbage 75 I would sewer my elo for mosswood dreadknight.
I've put in so much effort into prepping for the tournament but I don't feel like I have an edge at all. Very frustrating. Ready for the inevitable 5-4 with lessons.
Exactly the example I thought of.
Fascinated by how the my little pony show from the 80s doesn't acknowledge these characters are horses at all. They live in human suburban houses, sit in chairs, walk on their hind legs whenever it would be inconvenient to animate them otherwise.
Also much harder to find time for post kids.
The reason these software companies can lay off huge portions of their workforce and not immediately implode is those people were working on building new things. And in the AI era no one is even considering building a new thing. No progress just how cheaply can we recreate what's already there.
Please tell me the SSGed into it
How were you boarding vs lessons? I found that matchup to be difficult from the prowess side but I'm willing to believe I was just doing it wrong.
Pizza as a core mechanic feels like it was thought up by someone's mom who thinks all pokemon are pikachus.
I'm really confused about how ATLA, a TV show that ran for 3 seasons, inspired a bunch of really cool unique flavorful cards meanwhile the Spiderman and TMNT sets based on comics that have run for decades seemingly just didn't have source material beyond the main characters.
I found tutor for formidable speaker to put a quantum ridder in hand and therefore get both draw triggers to be a pretty common play pattern. Obviously you can't do that with the charm, wondering if that came into your decision making process at all.
But I wanna win glory and renown
It's rough that SCG Richmond is on TMNT release weekend and every card in that set gives me intense psychic damage.
This game really nails the exploration aspect of RPGs for me. Story is basically nonexistant so be aware of that. A single guy's passion project for almost a decade at this point you can just feel the care and attention to detail in everything.

I think a really important part of being a happy adult is just never canceling plans because you're not feeling it. Doing stuff in meatspace with friends >>>
A music producer who doesn't listen to anyone else's AI music because why would someone do that.
