Rick Steves is someone I've come to respect over the years, and this video is a must-watch. Given the situation, he helps to humanize the Iranian people as we hear our president talking about having unlimited ammunition for war.
In the spring of 2008, I feared America was on the verge of war with Iran — and, believing that it’s good style to get to know people before you bomb them, I made “Rick Steves’ Iran,” a one-hour special that could (and would) only debut on PBS. Sadly, this special has become pertinent again today.

Another banner day for the weather forecast models. Looks like a dusting at most now. Different story in southern Minnesota, where the storm actually is today.
When you see a smooth curve like that around the radar site, dry air is usually in place.
You can see the steadier snow staying south toward Mankato and Rochester. 2-4” down there.
Up to an inch in the metro. Could be enough for a couple slick roads by midday Saturday.

Snow potential for Saturday looks like it'd start around 10am-ish and light-moderate snow through afternoon, wrapping up later. That's using the high-res NAM model, which gives us about 2" of snow. European gives us about 1" with most south of Minneapolis. It'll be light, long, and annoying. #MNWX
