Problems with social media seem far more closely related to the types of conduct we tolerate there than the age of the people. There seem to be plenty of 50-60s conservative men throwing abuse at women online and it's not clear to me why that behaviour is not receiving similar proscriptive attention
We've had a number of problems with under- or misinformed voters not understanding what they are voting for. Allowing younger people to vote while at the same time removing options for them to get and share opinions with their peers feels extremely likely to result in more problems and not fewer.

One of my biggest problems with Starmer is that I have no idea what he actually wants. This is a problem Labour has had for a long time; their inability to select a leader with an agenda that matches public wishes who can explain why that agenda exists instead of pandering to niche demographics.
I once tweeted at Discord, telling them I didn't like their 😊 emote, and could they change it please. 100s of people RTed me, and 24 hours later, they altered it

Does seem like Starmer has squandered on of the best opportunities the left has had in the UK in a generation. Pretty much literally as well, my teenage daughter was not born when the Tories took power again.
