Paris-Nice has been a fun event to watch, as bad as yesterday was for all, today's scenery was just astonishing.
Give me a sunny day, some fromage, Beaujolais, a beret, and a baguette, and a spot where I can park my Renault roadside to watch the peloton go by, and I'd be happy.

Motto
In the dark times,
will there also be singing?
Yes, there will be singing
about the dark times.
This Brecht poem is quoted a lot, often to invoke the indomitable enduring spirit of the arts, keeping on keeping on, a light in the darkness, and so on. But it often feels like the important word is being overlooked, and that's "about"

The number of translators leaving the profession is very real. And this should be a serious worry for professional bodies in the translation sector (rather than just pushing the narrative of "oh, translators just need to learn more about AI")
