The first bill out of the Trump administration was the Laken Riley Act. Only one Minnesota Democrat voted to support it.
Since then, the president has used it to separate families and detain thousands of people without due process. Nothing can undo the damage that has been done.

Ending this operation is not enough.
We need justice and accountability. That starts with independent investigations into the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, economic restitution for businesses impacted, abolishing ICE, and the impeachment of Kristi Noem.

For health care workers, going to work means an onslaught of fear and anxiety with ICE agents present.
“What will happen to us?" one health care worker said. "That is my question every single night before going to bed. It really affects me mentally and emotionally. This is like a nightmare.”
They crush the local economy, deplete city budgets, illegally withhold congressionally allocated funds. In exchange we get masked Texans running wild in the streets, paid for with tax money that was supposed to be used on our healthcare. Thank you to our federal partners.
