Partly everything going to shit since, partly the speed run into the Labour Party for most of the machine fragment lads.

And an aspect of that conspiracy theory is that the encouragement of mass migration creates a voting bloc that will cement the power of those 'globalist elites' because there won't be enough white people to vote for fascists.
Farage and Goodwin are drawing directly on this narrative.
Great Replacement Theory is not just the idea that immigrants are replacing white people due to declining birth rates or whatever, but also a specific conspiracy theory that 'globalist elites' are deliberately encouraging mass migration to achieve/accelerate this process.
Seen lots of takes like this and yes it's ridiculous. But it's also a version of Great Replacement Theory and it is extremely negligent of all these professional journos just to titter about it and not name the far right conspiracy theory that's currently being repeated all over the press.
Even if there was an exact 50/50 split between Green and Labour, Reform would have lost. Fon:t expect we'll hear about that from James Ball.
Pie is an example of the character being more left wing than the writer, because the co-writer is Andrew Doyle.
The Fairford coach springs to mind.

The most likely outcome is a wrongful arrest settlement paid out in about 3-10 years and no action taken against any police officer. c.f. every previous time they've done something similar.
The reason that protesters don't get massacred in the US is because the state is traditionally very worried about what the response would be if that happened. It's not benign institutional protection of the public but fear of repercussions if certain lines were crossed.
There has been at least one national guard shooting during a protest since Kent State - David McAtee in Louisville in 2020, although he wasn't protesting or particularly near a protest at the time.
They controlled Ed Miliband's policy programme when he was leader, and also have close ties to Rachel Reeves. It's not about 'appealing to voters', rather they ventriloquise voters in order to push their own reactionary politics. It's only a faction of the higher echelons of the Labour Party.
Given mRNA cancer treatments coming through in the past couple of years it'd probably cost less.

And here we go with the typical process of Democrats draining the rebellious potential of grassroots anger by just using it to give money and electoral/political support for one of the two parties that are responsible for the abysmal state of USA and the world (including, especially, Gaza/Palestine)
There's a long history of blockades and sabotage in the US. One of the bigger examples would be overturned trains during the 1894 Pullman strike, which was often done by people who lived near the lines rather than the strikers themselves.
Various Grayzone guys and also Vijay Prashad have been pro '56 crackdown for some years now.
Didn't the SP support his leadership campaign? Probably some others too.
There's a non-zero chance these are fascists adopting a vegan persona rather than vegan fascists, although I guess the only real distinction between those two things would be their actual diet so there is no way to find out.
From the same archive but different authors. More critical but definitely identifies the separatist movement as far right libcom.org/article/east...
There were reports at the time. I think this one is fairly pro libcom.org/article/libe... but also there was more critical stuff that also took it and the reaction seriously.
One of the Spiked/Jacobin crossover crowd.
People keep saying "I can't believe the British government is going to make piracy legal but only for huge companies!" and can't help thinking "Have you heard of the East India Company."
Also not sure it needs to be a future utopia. Like they could say if trillions of people experience happiness for one day each that's worth tens of billions of people experiencing starvation/dysentary for most of their lives etc.
Yes which I think is sufficiently controversial and reactionary?
I mean it's also a blatant cover for extremely short termist things like you described too, same with 'effective altruism' which turns out to mean 'become the top of a pyramid scheme'.
'longtermism' in this context means for Musk e.g. space colonisation which then justifies any amount of carnage on earth if it means people end up living in space colonies in the end.
Doesn't transhumanism also include brain chips and blood harvesting?
Prince Andrew should be designated an 'enhanced risk'. Never mind China.
