Overall 8/10 for me. Good 12 hour romp through the history of RE.

4 is the best there no comparison. But it’s a good entry. They did some work on the spongy first person aiming which I really dislike but it’s a huge upgrade from 7 and 8 And I’m thankful for the 3rd person perspective as someone that excels in clicking heads.

And while I don’t want to spoil stuff, long time fans of the franchise will notice once again the locations followed the same tired formula and this does 100% need changing and it was a huge let down in comparison to RE4 and 4Remake, is it the best RE game. No. Not be a long shot.

The game manages to create tension in the quiet periods, however I called almost every jump scare before I happened. And while creepy and stress inducing, it wasn’t scary for me. The doll house from 8 is still king.

And the RE engine again proving graphically how fucking good it is. My god it’s a stunning looking game. Fully immersive and follows the capcom trick of making assets that will translate into future games. I can see a lot of it being used as the base for a Code Veronica remake.

RE9 finished. Despite my criticisms, I was still a great entry. I’d change a lot personally, some of the pacing was a little off, and we seem to be travelling on familiar ground yet again. The game was a nostalgia trip which followed the same beats as other entries. But it was fun!

First like 4 hours on RE9 requiem. Graces parts are so unbelievably stressful that it kills the reply value for me anyway, I prefer Leon. But I’ve always been more action focused.

Remind me why physical media even exists anymore. Cause apparently I can’t even get my steel book of RE9 on the date of release despite it being confirmed as today. The High street deserves to die, it’s pointless at this point.

Never thought I’d play a floor show in a vegan Mexican restaurant in Liverpool with 8 assorted hardcore and grindcore bands and still manage to climb my fat ass onto the bar. Guess I can tick it off the list. Seeing the owner with the industrial cleaning spray wiping the bar down after sent me 😂😂😂
