You’re an independent journalist not a blogger.
That the reporter didn’t know this suggests he’s a newsreader not a journalist.
I’m sorry. That legit sucks.

Uh, sorry I didn’t respond fast enough. I was making dinner.
People to watch for pres or VP: Chris Van Hollen, Chris Murphy, AOC, Wes Moore, JB Pritzker, Abigail Spanberger, Malcolm Kenyatta, Pete Buttigieg (he’s got weaknesses re: race).
But I cannot stress this enough: It likely will be someone not on our radar right now.
But these are careers to watch.
What you’re looking for is not something many of us need in early 2026. We even think locking in at this date is harmful.

You seem not to be understanding me. I don’t have a preferred candidate now. The candidate may well be someone we’ve never heard of. There are many sitting politicians where I think good things.
There isn’t someone now b/c there doesn’t have to be. Now isn’t the time for it. It’s not productive.
You need to know who the candidate will be NOW.
But not everyone needs that. In fact, we think going all in on a (potential!) candidate now is unhealthy & counterproductive.
Now is the time to talk values & do grassroots organizing NOT explicitly tied to elections. See who rises to the challenge
We don’t have to pick a candidate right now, I promise you.
There’s still time to…
1. See what politicians who’ve been mentioned will do.
2. Make clear our values to see who steps up.
3. Support grassroots GOTV groups.
4. Pay attention for rising talent.
We don’t have to choose now—and shouldn’t.
You’re a damn fool.
And you’re letting your emotional and intellectual limitations cause you to lash out and demand everyone be as limited and needy as you are.
I don’t have to have a preferred candidate this far out. I can just pay attention to who’s doing the work & trying to earn my vote. And paying attention for emerging talent.
In fact, that’s what people SHOULD be doing in early 2026
That YOU need to know the candidate NOW is a you problem, not mine
Refusing to cultivate other candidates years out when base voters make it clear one candidate is morally objectionable?
That’s a choice.
Newsom’s online supporters get off on the idea of forcing marginalized communities & their allies to vote for him. And their plan to blame them when Newsom loses
Only you can fail “natural family planning.”
Natural family planning can never fail you.
The music feels like it was dubbed in later as parody. Only it wasn’t!
This is actually what happened. And when the music stopped, he said they should keep it going!
Do you know what today is?
Money is leverage! Budgets are values! Politicians want you to forget this but we know.

Bless his heart. This is the best Schumer gets.
Supporting historical evidence the founders would have been fine with weed—they loved tobacco. So much so the Corinthian columns on the Capitol use tobacco leaves.
The most important question is: would Jefferson have puff puff passed if given the chance? Let’s check his papers.
So, can we just reverse psychology Fetterman into doing the right thing? We all need to work on this together!
There is also a shortage of American will.
Wrong answers only?
No, he’s Mr. Katy Tur.
They hustled her out so fast. The staffers all know. But highly possible she’s just finding out now. If any staffers dare to tell her.
Good question but it’s absolutely possible Markwayne views this move as an upgrade.
Short term, he could bask in the glow of Donald’s orbit and ride the fuckplane.
Not really. Noem’s a woman so he doesn’t see firing her as a weakness. At most, he’s just making a staffing change as Businessmen™ do.
Who are the “certain groups of kids” who have higher rates of suicide?
Trans kids. Because of bullying, isolation, and lack of affirming care.
Republican-leaning voters won’t vote for Talarico.
But could he be enough such that…
- Repubs stay home and don’t vote
- Dem-leaning voters show up who otherwise would not have voted
Aside: I think this moment is more about building for the future than a senate win this year.
I also know my mail merge won’t hallucinate shite. This cuts down on verification time. And saves me anxiety.

And some of these novels are about crafting!
