If you find your ADHD/autistic loved one hard to empathize with sometimes, bear in mind they've likely experienced a life of daily corrections:
- don't leave that there
- stop fidgeting
- sit down
- be quiet
- walk properly
- be more tidy / calm
- be less forgetful / weird / boring / enthusiastic

anyways maybe if we all tried to band together and educate people on WHY who they vote for matters, HOW the right doesn’t care about them, esp. for people more in the middle we would get somewhere
I know there are situations this doesn’t apply but in regards to natural disaster it gives the same vibe as the young adult “communists” who very much do NOT understand realistically what they’re talking about and speak from an idealist perspective/ constant moral argument
I saw some comments like this RE: Wheeling flooding and like yes there are partial impact from our elected officials
But just like we want people to understand that we aren’t each others enemy why do so many people result to insults over education
But as someone who is from a rural area that was formerly a blue state, now red, the whole “you get what you vote for” thing that kind of dehumanizes people in the wake of disaster grosses me out from either side
