I'm kicking off the show at 7:30 next Saturday.
Im doing a short set on the early side of the night with a some new songs (and some older ones). Hope some of you can make it. I guarantee that all the bands are great.

Once Cynthia Erivo sang one of my songs that I wrote for a play. It was just a rehearsal. The song got cut. But it was truly glorious. Seriously. A peak of my life. She is a serious and good person. I KNEW she would be a superstar.

See what you did: Now I want to play more and more. Maybe I finally I think I know what I'm doing (famous last words). The only thing that matters to me are the shows and if anything made them good it would have been you. Thank you so much.
Today I am flying home to San Francisco after a long and physically very difficult tour. I want to thank the people who came out to see me perform. Thank you for your energy, your positivity, your encouragement and (especially) your patience.

I just cant believe i am playing these beautiful theaters in Portugal. I cant believe performing with a great orchestra. Also the feeling of hope on the streets is such a relief. You get used to living in fear.
And also the old. His day is done. He plays politics when he should be waging war. The Clinton / Pelosi / Biden / Schumer hubris has not been viable for many years and has led us here.
If anyone is wondering who the Octeto de Cordas is - they are an eight piece orchestra who will be performing my silly songs with me on stage. I'm pretty excited about it.

Ah beautiful Roberta Flack has passed. The album 'Killing Me Softly' really changed my life. She had a sublime and perfect voice. An imploring purity. What a loss.
I gotta say this video perfectly describes the relationship between a recording artist and the general public.
