Medieval art historians and religious historians: I'm trying to track reliquaries that have family crests and other heraldry on them. I'm working on this in relation to Louis of Toulouse & his arm reliquary. What other examples am I forgetting?
Any ideas (any images!) would be appreciated!
Cover for my new book, due out with Routledge early next year. If you can't wait for that, my PhD thesis came off embargo today (linked). It covers the same material, it's just rather less polished (I rewrote the opening three chapters for the book).
