I can’t remember peoples names in real life and in books it’s even worse. Maybe the family tree thing or a list of characters would help. Old Perry Mason books had that and it helped me a lot.

I feel wet, but it’s my fault for picking a Bald Cypress tree! Nice photo, by the way.

Agree! It makes you want to hug her. Which, ironically, would mean you’d get paint on your clothes! 😂

“Ingredients generated by AI”… How soon before this devolves from satire to reality?

I may be wrong, but it feels like “AI artist” is an oxymoron.

I could never be mad at a cute face like that! (But next time I would make cupcakes.)

A Silver Gull walking on a lawn of short green grass. The bird is carrying a long thin stick in its beak. The caption is a humorous remark about not messing with a bird who is carrying a stick. Photo taken in New Zealand.

Photo I took of a Silver Gull who appeared to be engaged in a very important task. I considered following the gull to ask them what they were about, but I thought it best to keep my distance from any bird that’s carrying a stick.

This is such powerful imagery. It makes me sad. Excuse me while I give my daughter a hug.

A yellow post installed at a local post office. The post is placed between the parking lot and large glass windows at the post office entrance. The top of the post has a knitted "hat" that matches the black and yellow pattern of the post.

There are two posts in this photo. The post on the left has the knitted "hat" that matches the yellow and black top of the post. The post on the right has no hat, but it does show the yellow and black pattern of the posts.

I spotted my first real life Urban Knitting artwork at a local post office yesterday. Thank you, kind stranger, for brightening my day! #UrbanKnitting #UrbanArt

Why is the cat wearing the hat when they could be sitting in it?

Nerds are cool and kids that bird are cool so in my book your photo is double cool.

Two Marbled Godwits wading in shallow water at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary in Arcata California. The birds are moving slowly from left to right. The water reflects the Marbled Godwits, creating a mirror image of the birds. It is an rather gray, overcast morning.

Marbled Godwits that were nice enough to pause for a moment so I could get a photo. I took this a while back at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary. I like the reflections of the birds in the shallow water.

Still using my Canon EOS REBEL T4i.

Yes, they are part of the trifecta. Libraries, used bookstores, and when the budget allows, new books. 💕

Time well spent I’d say.

It’s either a painting or AI generated. The reflections in the water don’t match, and the shadows are inconsistent with the position of the sun. It’s a pretty image though. It would be nice if the person posting said more about the image.
