I don’t mind personal opinions too much as we all have a different background that made us who we are for the best, and the worst (homophobia, racism, sexism…). We can still be friends even if I strongly disagree with some of your opinions. Hate speech crosses a line though.
They adjusted it in specific regions due to economic circumstances in these regions. Unlike a global price increase we’ve seen from everyone else for tariffs that keep getting postponed.
Not only is Sony ignoring the price increases from its competition in gaming, but they are about to drop a discount on all of their hardware for the “Days of Play” event.

Actually, they stored a ton of hardware in warehouses across the US to avoid the impacts of the tariffs and have revealed that current deal being signed could allow them to avoid a price hike altogether. Sony likes the edge of their price point and they want to keep it.
For anyone that needs to hear this, Sony has not said that they will increase console or game prices. Clickbait does its thing as usual of course.
