Is it ok that farmers are getting less money, often barely breaking even with many leaving the sector each year, opening the door to even more big-ag to move in?
Is it ok that the most senior people in the largest multiple retailers receive tens of millions of pounds in remuneration?
The thing that strikes me about this report is no stats on remuneration at the big supermarkets who are by far the biggest customer for the vast majority of UK farmers.
Some ideas for growing mixtures of veg together to mimic natural ecosystems and get the most from your growing space. The opposite of monoculture farming!

Switching just 1 trip a day from 🚗 to 🚴 or 🚶♂️ = almost 30% less transport CO2 for the ave UK urban resident. If 1 in 5 did this in 🇪🇺 it’d cut emissions from all 🚗 travel in 🇪🇺 by 8%. The potential impact of active travel on CO2 could be huge
