I’ve had it since I was seven, but I went into absolute crisis with the pandemic. It was literally the worst event possible for people with OCD around illness. I only accepted medication when it was a choice between that and hospitalization, but it was the best thing I could have done.
I don’t know if it can help at all, but from someone else with contamination OCD, I understand this all so much. I was where you are not so long ago and I’m so sorry you’re going through this now.
