Yeah it took me a while but I remembered eventually, that information somehow had completely exited my brain for a while lol

I thought I was losing my mind and misremembering this painting as being massive until I realised π so much detail on such a small canvas!
I don't know why but randomly giving someone something that matches their good vibe is such a great feeling. I once gave a girl with pink hair I'd just met a pink crochet flower
Screenshot of my with a notification which reads βremember triangles? Accompanied by bikini and umbrella emojis and then it says something you may like. My phone screen background is algebraic integers so Iβm enjoying this notification for surprising reasons
Everyday of my life, homie
And I'm not even going into LA or on the freeway yet so I know it gets worse π
It's crazy how quickly moving to SoCal turned driving from something I really enjoy to the absolute worst part of my day
I can only imagine π± have you come up with a sorting system or is it always that daunting? I have so many batches of good travel and hiking photos I never did anything with because it's so daunting
I'm sorry! I guess that's one thing that Southern California is good for. Although at one point we had a very tiny cloud just over the moon and it felt like it was mocking me
I don't have a proper set up for photography so it helps haha, I know there's not much I can do with the photos I took anyway:) (also I absolutely haaaaaaate sorting through photos/editing so I almost never do it:')) I took my photos on a portrait lens because I don't have anything more appropriate!
Nah, the serving size for croissants is 10, why else would they sell them in boxes of 10 in French supermarkets?
(and yes I got this out of my camera as quickly as possible to be the first one to post a camera photo out of my mutuals π I will post better ones after I get some sleep!)
A photo of a lunar eclipse near totality, with a few stars in the background

A crochet headband I made for a friend (artfully modelled by my giant squishmallow)
I'm not much of a crochet person so this is the first thing I've crocheted that has a function!
Oh man:/ I hope she's safe. Always there if you need a chat.
This mind-bending relativity illusion has never been seenβuntil now.
Using ultrafast lasers and a 300-picosecond camera, researchers at the University of Vienna and Vienna University of Technology visualized the rotating Terrell-Penrose effect, an effect of special relativity.
If anyone is having a bad time, just remember that the fish doorbell is coming online on Monday
Right there with you Hubble
The Hubble Space Telescope is spiraling.
Welcome πΈPlease FollowπΈ I had a dream of how to create this I canβt wait to try again with more saturated colors but I think Iβm on to something. Every layer is lined in gold exactly as I had hoped. #gold #alcoholink #alcoholinkflower #flower #abstract
Why do I have to pretend that I'm going to print something in order to save it as a PDF. Why do I have to engage in a little ruse.
I don't often laugh in public at things I read online but this broke me
Art show flyer
Not sure how many #Tucson followers I have here, but this Friday evening is a free art show called The Art of Planetary Science at University of Arizona. Come say hi if you see me! Iβll give you a sticker ποΏΌ
A heart shaped canvas showing the Moon on a blue, pink and purple sky.
A close up showing the texture on my Moon painting.
My favourite colours and my favourite sky object. π€
What do we think to this one?! I wasnt sure if it was too simple, but I've come to adore it in its simplicity. I love the texture on the Moon and how dreamy she looks floating in the sky.π₯°

Getting a vegan sausage roll from that Greggs was both the last thing I did before moving to the US and the first thing I did when I first came back to visit

One of those moments from the slopes of Beinn a' Chearcaill, what a magical place this is.
In this image a shot during landing of Nasa Perseverance from the perspective of the rover. The heat shield was already released and it's visible at the centre of the image. In the background the rim of the Jezero Crater and its delta. Colours assigned are from the dark of the more external atmosphere layers to the rusty red of the red planet surface.
5 years ago today! Can anyone send me to the next century, please?

Little floating heart astronaut reaching out for... someone? something? You can find it at xxyxxy.com. Last one, until I do another round in a month or so.

There's also a more general sciart feed that @flyingtrilobite.com manages, I'm not sure how to copy the link to it though
