This Ninja Gaiden Remake from MiniMacro Sound is a fantastic take on NG1 for the NES. The core game is there, but it does enough to feel like something new, but man the later levels are nuts.

First game beaten in 2026!
Don't get me wrong, this is still a unique and fun game, but what knocked a few points off was the insane difficulty of Level 9, and a totally broken continue system made the late game very rage-worthy. (1/2)
