On my drive into SF today, I was passed by someone on an ADV style motorcycle with the license plate “lionux”. That’s gotta be someone in the fandom right? It checks all the right boxes right? A lion that’s into Linux?

Finished my first sewing project. Started with the solid pillow cases, then the duvet cover and then decided to make two more pillowcases with a cuff using the Charlie Brown fabric. Plenty of room for improvement, but I’m feeling pretty proud of myself right now.

So I recently took up sewing and this is my first project. Made several pillow cases using the Charlie Brown Christmas fabric, then decided to do a duvet cover. Lots of lessons learned but I’m mostly happy with it for being my first real project.

Shame it’s being trailered instead of driven. Seems like a long road trip is exactly what it should be used for

I was a student of his in 1996. He came onto me the day I turned 18. I should have said something then. It’s been a point of shame I didn’t say anything back then. I thought he had been fired after another student had attempted suicide after though.

This is my old clarinet from when I was in 5th grade and it was already used when I got it. Pads were totally dry rotted, so giving it a go at repairing it myself. Then I can practice along with my oldest son who just started this year (on a much newer clarinet I just got him)
