Made a simple comparison table of the most popular asset stores! I was mainly aiming for 2D pixel art, but it is applicable for other asset types as well. Overall, itch io is probably ahead for me, but it is worth the time to set up other storefronts too.

Started working on a new small game for web plarforms. This time it's going to a be a puzzle slider gameplay with retention mechanics around it - progression gallery, decorations as rewards for certain milestones, etc. Maybe some leaderboards.

Working on a small web game; couldn't figure out what was causing it to not connect to an extension. Turns out, GameMaker's latest update wipes a part of index.html - with important data from the extension. At least, it wasn't just me being stupid π

Moved to version 5.6 of UE, had to adapt to some changes like the enhanced input system getting rid of some things. Still, there were also some changes to global illumination, which fixed a few details for me.

Ditched baked lighting, trying lumen now. Surprisingly, it doesn't seem like it takes up that much more performance compared to the previous setup - with a few tricks for optimization, at least.
