A really lovely evening at Oake Manor attending the Rotary Club of Taunton's Charity dinner.
It was very interesting listening to Fiona and Paul Jones discuss their Christian faith as well as performing some songs and reminiscing about their performances on the stage. So pleased I got to attend.

No politician seems willing to defend British multiculturalism or explain how the immigration proposals undermine integration and create a migrant underclass! It all seems aimed at those white Brits who either think the UK is falling to Muslims or believe we're a racist shithole.

Good summation, but the Government is not very good at getting their stories 'out there', and the proof of the pudding is in the eating, is it safe to go to the beach and in the sea later this year? Mostly avoided last year because of pollution alerts.

Is exhausting watching them try to exist in this broken electoral system. They can't be all things to all people in massive broad church parties which FPTP demands, when party membership is tiny, party democracy doesn't exist and link to voters is broken. Reality needs to be accepted and move to PR.

The Gorton and Denton by-election shows people are bitterly disappointed with Labour but horrified by the rise of Reform.
In many parts of the country, it's the Liberal Democrats who can stop Reform.

Oof. Sometimes blaming the media can look churlish but they need to be called out for their constant indulgence of Reform. It's gone on way too long.
That's the way to do it. So good to see progressive politicians pushing back hard on Reform's messaging. Highly effective and so refreshing and Labour could learn a lot from Polanski in this regard. Take the attack to the Faragists - don't let them get away with it.
