As teachers, we receive training for when armed intruders enter our buildings. Now we are getting information on what to do when government agents attempt to question/detain our students. I hate it here.

If we are going to dismantle amendments based on “historical context”, let’s have a go at the amendment that was written for muskets.

So many of us learned a great mnemonic to remember the causes of WWI:

If you are sick, it’s okay to skip a family gathering. Definitely don’t prepare food for a gathering if you are sick. Even when it’s “mild” or “just a cold” think about the people with compromised immune systems or even those who don’t have paid sick leave.

It’s official-my fantasy football team prevailed in the championship. After finishing second to my younger son two years in a row, George Kittle sealed the victory for this mom. Even sweeter is the grand prize— older son (finished scum dead last) has to caddy 9 holes for me.
