Where are we at in the Bad Bunny concert preshow? What is the fake time on the preshow clock currently, and is it in the first part of the preshow, or the second?

Dear God don't tell me they made them beehive themed. I hate the beehive. It was a symbol Joseph Smith stole from the Masons. I expected and somewhat accepted it on the new flag, but don't bring it into my sports teams

I’m trying to see something
Just one more lane bro, I swear
So how many of these 11 players are eligible for their stupid new rule?
If a team wants to pay one player so much that The rest of their players are on minimums, fucking let them. If a team wants to pay a player who sucks a million dollars, fucking let them! I'm all for parity, but you ultimately can't protect teams from themselves
There is so much the NWSL does that is worthy of being bitched about, let's stick to that.
I know I'm weird that I like to read things like Competition Rules and CBAs when I receive no tangible benefit from it, but still.
Also I saw someone complaining about the league not announcing this prior to a team using the rule. It's in the CBA, which has been publicly available for months now, and in the 2025 Competition Manual (i.e., it's been available at least since the beginning of the 2025 season)
*basically just a league minimum contract with no team bonuses allowed. Teams can sign up to 4 each year
So does the fact that Moriya was signed to a Salary Cap Exempt Contract* mean Utah will otherwise be pushing the salary cap this year? And if so, does that mean they have some big signings coming, or maybe the upcoming extensions were, uh, large?
Any time I watch BYU play any sport on ESPN, it is weird how much the announcers love to talk about how great BYU is, no matter what is happening in the game.
Example: Right now where they're down 6-0 to Stanford and they've spent about 2/3 of the time talking about BYU
Bump
Only one active player who still plays for WAS was on that roster, and for some reason DiDi Haracic started over her. Two players currently on maternity leave for them started, though
Hilariously Rose Lavelle played in that match, too. And a member of Triple Espresso - Mal Swanson. Katie Stengel started and KO came off the bench. WAS GK coach (Barnhart) was there, but she wasn't doing much since, as noted, WAS didn't get any shots on target
Tbh I think the NBA data gets TOO granular because you end up with miniscule datasets that are impossible to generalize from reliably (but people will certainly try!). But who is taking a shot, and who is defending, and where the defenders are. And who's in the net all matter, immensely
Soccer just doesn't have that (publicly, teams absolutely have that data), so instead you get something that would assign the same value to any player on the field taking that shot. It drives me nuts when people talk about that stat as if it's actually meaningful on its own
This is actually my biggest beef with analytics in soccer. In the NBA, you can look up the avg player's pts/shot is from any spot on the floor, which is essentially xG. You can also see how that changes based on the distance from the nearest defender, and on who's shooting, and on who's defending
Rose's game winner is a perfect example of how meaningless xG can be without context. Her shot had .09 xG, which means of all shots from that position, only 9% score. But I guaran-fucking-tee you Spirit ran drills specifically to prevent Rose (or Jaedyn, tbh) having that exact shot
JCA knew he could keep Reale on because the ref would give her a warning before tossing her, and then immediately went to Bruninha as soon as Reale got the warning. Honestly brilliant move. Refs HATE giving second yellows, especially for technical fouls. Which is stupid but JCA played it brilliantly
Please stop giving CBS important matches
Ya think Gotham feels good about that million dollars?
Utterly absurd save. With the stakes of the moment, one of the biggest saves I've seen
Berger was fucking pissed about last week lmao
Uhhhh so you can bend down and shove someone in the lower back on a corner now?
Orlando got so lucky Sonnett was offside there or that would've been a PK
Fucking finally a yellow for Orlando. I'm about as neutral in this match as I get, but that should've been the 4th yellow on Pride players
Deb's bright hair draws Brad's eyes so he actually saw the foul this time
Killer Croix
That is a HORRENDOUS call
Truly unbelievable play from Sam
