Like, we were just helpless to do anything but start a war here! You realize how very clownish that sounds, right?

My brain is just really angry at that logic.
Like, that can be your justification for war if you want. Israel was about to start something with Iran and we wanted in. Put that out there if you want.
But trying to package that justification as an imminent threat, no.
Okay, my brain is so furious with the idea that we were imminently threatened because Israel was going to attack Iran and then Iran would retaliate so we had to hit them first to prevent their response to Israel attacking them...
Look, all I really want from a Wuthering Heights adaptation is something that captures how awkward and hilarious Mr. Lockwood's scenes are - him making faces at the guard dog and complimenting Cathy on her pet cats which turn out to be a basket of dead rabbits. Will someone kindly direct me to that?
Anyone else see Return to Oz in the theater? I remember everything about that movie so vividly even though I only saw it the one time when I was little.
(That said, I wish he had started with those skills instead of using them as a last-ditch effort. Or discounted them so early the first time he tried them! But, well, then I guess you no longer have an action movie.)
He may not be enhanced, but he has a certain set of skills that you shouldn't underestimate. Even in a world where punching and guns and firepower seem to rule so much. And I nearly teared up.
Okay, just watched Captain America: Brave New World. Spoilers, I guess.
I am seriously and surprisingly moved that the therapist saved the day.
Tonight I heard All Star by Smashmouth playing on the oldies station.
For the preservation of my sanity, I have decided this must have been a regrettable programming error.
My brother and I are preparing for our parents golden anniversary. He informed me that as the oldest, I have to make the first speech.
I nodded and told him, "I get it. With great power comes great responsibility."
This is the most beautiful piece of feed synergy I've ever seen. Welcome to BlueSky.
