I have, genuinely, had at least one case of "noncustodial parent demanding access to minor's locked entries to get information on where child and custodial parent had fled, to enable NCP kidnapping" in my career! The SC law just passed would require me to display comments and entries--

& this is why kids need privacy. Because what if a kid has a stalker who can convince a harried administrator that they're a parent? It's not that hard! Someone I follow had someone getting into their (obscuring not actual pronouns) BANK ACCOUNT *over the phone*. Multiple times! It was a nightmare.
