ironically nostr is more decentralized than bluesky, this is evident because nostr clients can't find posts occasionally if someone quotes another post, it won't load, can't find the relay

Everyone i've met on nostr after ~1 year of developing apps on it is super chill. Something that surprised me was that there was a push to get SWs that were being shadowbanned on other apps to come to nostr.
The tipping feature is really killer.

Nostr is more of a live construction zone (new apps and tech every 2 weeks) than a hate breeding ground, honestly the low lifes with the hatred just get muted, no reason to pay attention to anything like that.

Is federation only for the self-data storage? How are feeds, following list, etc aggregated?

all money is imaginary, people just decide what has value and what doesn't.
ex: you *could* only accept US dollars because it's the only currency that has value for your needs. Others may accept euros, dollars, british pound, or btc depending on what country they live in(local currency isn't stable)
