New gas and coal, acting for donors, sycophant to US and Israel, Robo-ndis and aged care assessments, no anti gambling legislation, AUkUS, environmental laws that allow huge clearing of wilderness in the NT. I could go on!

Thank you for speaking for the millions of us who are appalled at our obsequious pathetic politicians supporting the monsters of war and genocide. @albomp.bsky.social

Redirecting...

It's such a relief to hear basic common sense being applied to the functioning (or dysfunction) of our world, and what needs to change. Our current leaders are taking us to planetary and social apocolypse, here is finally a leader with clarity. www.facebook.com/share/r/1FV2...

Yes taking away the valuable input of those closest to the participants is another reason there are so many problems

24.02.2026 08:16 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

So many bad consequences of assessment tools used to decide what supports our most vulnerable need, with insufficient human oversight and adjustments. #agedcare and #ndis The warnings are coming, has nothing been learnt about the huge cost of these so-called efficiencies?

Alcoa's green efforts dubbed 'disappointing' by WA premier after $55m payment Roger Cook criticises Alcoa's environmental record for being "not at the level we expect", after the US mining giant agreed to pay $55 million for clearing a native jarrah forest in WA's south without...

Wow, Alcoa has been naughty enough for the WA Premier to criticise them! This makes me so angry. A measly fine! This destruction is not reversible, rehab of rare jarrah forest IS NOT POSSIBLE! Yet, carry on chaps, keep up the destruction. www.abc.net.au/news/2026-02...

Yes exactly! A breathless excited coverage of the most dreary, boring event. The #abcnews biases towards the #libs were showing embarrasingly. I had to turn off before I vomited.

The same this morning when the whole (1 hour I watched until I couldn't) of #abcnews breakfast was devoted to the voting of the Libs. The #abc (Lib fans) seriously overestimate the interest of their audience in the irrelevant, un-electables. It's not as though there isn't plenty else to report on.

I'm thrilled and excited that after 15 years (off and on) work, my book 'Little Body Huge Life - Finding Freedom in Any Body', is going to be launched on March 7. Thank you to #castlemountmedia and the donors on my #gofundme for all your support bringing it to fruition.

While it's good to see the rorting providers being caught, could we stop punishing participants for the big costs, and properly fund their needs?

I've watched 2 episodes of Goolagong so far, and each time the story, what and who she had to deal with, have stayed with me. And I've learnt so much more about her. Beautifully made and acted, and yes the young one is a natural.

I don't understand why the Adelaide Writers didn't consider what happened to the Bendigo Festival; it's not like there wasn't already a real life example of how catastrophic censorship can be for the organisation and event.

This feels like such a betrayal. Instead of improving the #ndis they are making it worse for participants, creating more stress and anxiety, less safe for the people it is meant to be helping. First principle of it should be DO NO HARM. Oversight by qualified assessors, right to appeal is important

NDIS plans will be computer-generated, with human involvement dramatically cut under sweeping overhaul Exclusive: Staff were told of major changes to the way NDIS funding and support plans will be made during a recent internal briefing

This is a big worry. Minimal input from actual people, no medical input, limited appeal opportunities, sounds like no lessons learnt from #Robodebt. Anxiety, stress and limited assistance for the very people this is meant to help. The govt hasn't been listening. www.theguardian.com/australia-ne...

β€˜We had to swim to safety. I didn’t think we would make it out alive’: the people fleeing climate breakdown – in pictures Photographers Mathias Braschler and Monika Fischer capture the families, farmers and fishers who have been forced to leave their homes by extreme weather – and the landscapes they left behind

Bringing us the reality that thousands, millions are already dealing with increased climate extremes. Devastating. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

At a time when humanity needs to unite like never before to change our systems to be sustainable for the long term, campaigns like this do so much damage.

RAISE THE RATE!!!

I wonder if Gough's dismissal is the source of Labor timidity to this day. Don't be bold, don't be visionary, remain a small target otherwise you could be dismissed, crucified. Lesson learnt?

And our homes are not safe havens from mishaps either. I know 2 people who fractured an arm from falling off their couch. There are hazards everywhere! Nowhere is safe!!

So much dumbness, which is seen by many because so much is recorded and shared. But they keep on doing it. If one wants to cut spending, do it in background stuff, not peoples' healthcare.

After a blackout I bought a solar and usb powered power board, I've used it a few times, worth having as backup.

Yes raise the bloody rate!! Is there evidence that raising people out of living below the poverty line reduces other costs eg hospital admissions, medical, mental health services etc? Just like homes for homeless is a good investment, reduces other costs.

Is this the most filmed/recorded genocide? While the propaganda machines have been in overdrive, their efforts are undermined by all that's shared on social media and independent media, we are seeing some of what is really happening, helping tip the scales of more and more not buying their shit.
