I also hate Iowa because of unfair traffic fines. I was driving through Iowa on I-35 in a blizzard, looking for an exit. Freeway covered in ice. I skidded off the road. Iowa Highway Patrol happens along a few minutes later and gives me a ticket for unsafe driving.

David, I was at the debate. When he said that I laughed, but few others seemed to notice.

We need a new paring knife. My wife insists that we have at least one knife of each size (paring, sandwich, chef) that can go in the dishwasher, which is reasonable

I’ll look at it. We just gave our son three of our kitchen knives to set up his household. So now there are three spaces in the knife rack.

I also sharpen our knives. I use a spyderco sharpmaker. I’ve gotten better at it over time.

This is shockingly horrible.
