A drawing of a woman gardening, ducks on the path and washing drying on the line. The words say: "It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold; when it's summer in the light and winter in the shade." Charles Dickens, Great Expectations.
Sums up today nicely.

The world is awful. The world is much better. The world can be much better.
All three statements are true at the same time. Understanding this is key to solving big global problems.
We believe data & research can help us understand both the problems we face & the progress thatβs possible. π§΅

New research reveals NHS risks exodus of ethnic minority talent
The survey revealed ethnic minority communicators are now disillusioned and leaving due to negative experiences.
Ethnic minority comms professionals are leaving NHS roles due to poor relationships with managers, lack of career progression and structural racism. Well done @nhsconfed.bsky.social, NHS Providers & the Centre for Health Communications Research for highlighting.

I'm exploring plug in hybrid SUVs at the moment. Likely going to use the salary sacrifice scheme through work. We have toyed up between volvo XC50, 60 and 90, VW Passat and Tiguan, and Skoda Kodiaq. Think we are settling with the skoda, mostly on a VFM and good mileage on battery alone.
