I realized I need more practice drawing Jasper's profile. I'm undecided on the markings on the back of his head and how complex I want them to be, and it doesn't help that when I look at photos of bobcats, every single one has completely different markings ><

I'm wondering if that cat "elevator butt" phenomenon (housecats lift their hindquarters when you scritch the base of their tails) applies to wild cats too. I need to know. For science.

I ended up making some minor (mostly proportion) changes to that pic that I posted last night.

How he got himself into that situation is anyone's guess....>;)

I actually thought about that last night!

Oh yeah, I have a video that I took of one purring at a local wildlife/exotic animal rescue that sadly isn't around anymore (the animals have been taken to other refuges so they're all fine). When I stood in front of her enclosure, she rolled onto her side and started purring up a racket! <3
