Mom is still in the hospital. She’s having a procedure tomorrow called cardioversion where they’ll shock her heart to make it start beating regularly again.
Life is weird and hard and I’m so very tired. Ever heard of bedtime procrastination? Yeah, that’s been me this whole week.
Looks like it’s AFIB. Thankfully that can be treated with medication but for some reason her O2 levels, which should be between 95%-100%, kept bouncing around between 68% and 84%!
In the ER with my mom. She was taken from her dr appointment by ambulance to the hospital because her bp was super low (top number was 80!!), but her pulse was in the 130s. Can life get any worse?! Wait, maybe I shouldn’t ask that. 😬

Been horribly sick since Thursday. Went to urgent care this morning and was diagnosed with the flu. I had to go to 2 pharmacies to get Tamiflu because there’s a shortage in my city. This by far the worst I’ve felt in a very long time. I wasn’t even this sick the million times I’ve had Covid. 🤒 😷 🤧

It really is! I’ve applied to so many places, put so much effort into it, only to be mostly ignored. I’ve gotten the occasional “thanks but no thanks” emails but most places don’t even both with that. 😒
None of the ones I worked with many moons ago did. I’m in several job related groups…crap, just realized I don’t have FB anymore. 😂 (side note: it hasn’t been as difficult as I thought it would be!!) and that was a common topic, many people are looking but no one’s getting interest.
Is it a guaranteed hours sort of thing? I have looked at our district’s jobs website and they don’t seem to offer any benefits for subs.
Not yet. I really need to find a job with benefits, and staffing agencies don’t offer stuff like that.
