Absolutely.
I try to limit my interactions with others to positive interactions and enjoyment of geeky endeavours. Life is too short to tear people down, especially for hobbies meant to bring joy.
Well this is something I didn't know I wanted. Happy to have it on my radar
It makes a lot more sense when you replace "the enemy's wicked ideology" with critical and rational thought.
He wants yes-men and people who will follow illegal orders and war crimes without question.
Got the prototype etched so I could have an accurate photo and now have the listing live.

But look on the bright side - consumer costs for RAM and SSDs have skyrocketed, tech corps have been allowed to siphon off energy and water, and the perpetual theft machines have enabled an increase in frauds and slop art and writing.... that worth something, right?
We live in the dumbest tineline
Post by @jeffowski stating The underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.
Thank goodness there are other companies and systems out there. I'll patronize companies that don't use AI
Congrats to @stmannell.bsky.social and the whole @hellomcdm.bsky.social team on this release.
I can't wait to pour through it.
Yet another example of a Basic Income program increasing productivity, and reducing reliance on other programs.
It turns out when you help people, it benefits society. Who would have thought.

I am far more heavy handed with the block feature on BlueSky than any other platform before.
Maybe I'm just getting older and don't have the spoons to deal with such negativity, but I block like it's going out of style
Sadly, my vote had no impact here. People would vote for a blue bin here just based on colour. I'll always vote as I believe it is a critical part I'd our society, but i may as well throw my ballot into the wind.
But yeah, no argument from me. I'm no apologist for politicians
We should 100% hold to high standards and demand accountability in all our politicians.
Sadly, what was our alternative? Pierre? Jagmeet? Sometimes an election is about plugging your nose and going with the least offensive smell.
It's great to have context, Max. It's important to state facts.
Unfortunately the people who need to see data like this will be entirely unimpacted by it. You can't logic someone out of a position they didn't logic themselves into.
Most anti-immigration positions are just racism. It's not logical
I'd really really like to go to Gen Con and a couple of others. Things have been too busy over the past couple of years with my wife's schooling and having a young kid, this is the first year it would be easy to
As a Canadian though, I'm just not prepared to. I'm going to look for some local stuff

"My name is not Carl, so no boxer shorts" - Joe Bishop in Ground State
I absolutely love when authors reference each other's works.

I miss the 3DS. I still have mine tucked aside somewhere and have been thinking about buying a retro handheld device like a retroid or miyoo.
Its a shape the industry moved away from that style of handhelds though
Books/audiobooks completed in January 2026. In ludes Carcharodons Void Exile, Peace Talks, Battle Ground, Golden Son, Tallarn, Twelve Months, and Legionnaire
Excellent start to the year. Twelve Months is currently my favourite book of the year, and definitely of the month
Currently listening to Ground State by Craig Alanson, the latest book in the Expeditionary Forces series. I think Morning Star by Pierce Brown is next.

Yeah I get that. Like I said, it is well outside my wheelhouse so I was just spit balling things that made sense to me as an outsider.
Sorry you're dealing with this frustration.
