Bards from the College of the Uncanny may seem mortal, but there’s something about them that deserves a double-take. Their eyes might reflect the light oddly, or their teeth may be just too sharp. Perhaps it is the way they move, like a predator stalking its prey.

Have you met the Fossegrim? Many warn about the handsome young man who lives in the woods, as simply to see his dark eyes is all it takes to be charmed into his lair. He can change his shape into that of a white horse, dragging unfortunate riders into the waters to be drowned.
