Oh no! My hair is falling out!

Mine will turn dark red when fired so I am still debating which glazes would be best. I am thinking of using Amaco Snow to make my surprised one look like a ghost pumpkin.

Now I need to decide which glazes to use. They look so excited!

I love the glaze color combination on this mug even if I lost some of the detail on the coin decal.

Lovely outcome on this.
Mayco Wrought iron x3 on exterior and One layer Mayco Black Walnut over two layers of Penguin pottery flowing blue on the inside. The form is inspired by an ancient Minoan mug style.

So, these two mugs have the same glazes and fired to same temp in same kiln load. I can see that the mid-fire speckled clay body really showed through the eggplant. The other mug is Bmix-C6-10 and the glazes look more opaque.

I call this glaze recipe Fairy glaze.
Micro pearl x3 all over int and ext. Smokey merlot X2 top 2/3. Flowing blue x2 top 1/3. One band of oatmeal at rim. Cone 6, community kiln. Bmix clay.

This was a fun project, inspired by ancient Minoan mug shape and decoration. Details were in black underglaze with clear matte glaze on top. Cone 6.
