The sign of a good 1st overall pick is that he will always make his teammates look better.
Slaf makes two of the best NHLers in the league, Suzy and Caufield better.
You may have missed that brain fart?
Im 99% sure it deflected on Matheson
#Habs playing against the second to last offence in the league.
Thankfully, I expect only 4 goals against tonight.

If we get Robert Thomas this summer, can he wear the big pads?
Damnβ¦ thatβs hilarious
That doesnβt point to playoffs success but the first step is making it
As far as scoring their way in, itβs not ideal. I agree. Although the Oilers have been pretty good at it
Always hard to evaluate the team after a really frustrating loss that underscores all their issues you pointed to.
But they still got 12/16 points in their last 8. In fact, they have earned 6+ points every sequence of 5 games since the beginning of the season apart from once.
Iβm not worried
Well, everything is relative to the rest of the league and the quality of the players in it. In a perfect world and building a team with no constraints, I would agree with your assessment, but reality is that most teams have more issues than the Habs, hence why the Habs are a top 10 team.
So either the season is, in fact, weird, or the analysis is a little harsh. Iβll take the latter but you already know that π
Game winner was a PP goal though. Not his pairing.
Putting all the blame on Carrier when you are paired with the 7D is a bit unfair I think
Thx. Appreciated. I knew the goaltending was an issue but was surprised to see the impact when I compiled the data.
The amount of goals I noticed that started from a high risk play in the O Zone was nuts.
And yeah, carrier doesnβt have the skating to be down low other than a quick pinch forecheck
They seem to be taking too many offensive risk resulting in turn overs the other way. Typical of a young team.
I wrote this a couple of weeks ago. Itβs a detailed look of their defensive struggles.

Log scale tend to level things off, especially in larger databases. Is that possible here?
Habs donβt give more goals from cycling than other teams. Their issues are related to goals off the rush. Defensive structure is not the issue
Si Gilbert Delorme est un expert du hockey, je vous avise que je prends des rendez vous pour des opΓ©rations cardiovasculaires Γ partir de demain.

I think itβs part of the equation but not high on the list. I would think theyβd consider more any negative effect the new guy may have, more than a lost friend from the guy they send out
I agree. If you bring in grit, itβs not to replace the grit you have.
That said, X72 hasnβt progressed much. And for some reason, he seems to be softer boxing out in front of the net. Of course he is targeted by the refs which doesnβt help.
Iβm not seeing him as a regular roster in a cup contender.
Core memory for your daughter!!
I jumped on the ice, waved at the ref like a murder just happened.
My Dad asked me why I did that. I said I wanted to imitate his favourite player John Ferguson
Huge flashback for me. I played a hockey tournament in Montreal and the final was held at the forum (huge motivator). I was 9 I think. We we leading by 6 in the 3rd. Asked the coach if I could take a penalty to sit on the bench but didnβt want to hurt an opponent. He said - go on the ice as a 6 th β¬οΈ
Hearing talks are intensifying for Edmonton to acquire Connor Murphy from Chicago.
Orange hair and orange cheeks.
Iβve seen that somewhere π€
Probably because they themselves will probably die on Friday
