I love the way this is organized and presented almost as much as I love how darn much you've been able to tackle!

So today I learned that people prefer to eat them chocolate side up? No way! I've been a staunch supporter of the chocolate-down crew since it apes my preferred way of eating the half of the oreo that isn't left floating in my milk.

Man, I miss digestives. They're so yummy.

I'm going with Oblivion Redownloaded to replace the 360 version I had installed, but when I tackle it it's going to be Oblivion FirstTimed because I'm awful at clearing my backlog of all of the stuff everyone tells me I need to play

I just recently got Cruisin' World! I've had Exotica for ages but never added the first two to the collection, so I figured I'd get that sorted.

i was always surprised that Beetle Adventure Racing didn't get more love at the time. It's such a fun game!

Somehow I didn't have any of the Rush games in my collection!

Hopefully I manage to find a cheap copy of Army Men: Air Combat to go with Nuclear Strike, because I'd love to play through both on the Analogue 3D.

Lunar SCD, Saturn, PSP, PS4

Lunar Remastered arrived today! My collection is far from anything resembling complete with regard to ports and variants, but there's a nice smattering of different iterations in there.

Super excited to play the new release and finally give 2 a decent shake (SCD version was awful).

When this was first revealed, I was disappointed it wasn't more like its predecessor on PC.

When I finally played it, I was disappointed in myself for not playing it sooner. It's such a fun game! The PC game holds a very special place in my heart, but dang if the to Xbox game isn't fantastic.

SuFami Turbo with the first four SD Gundam strategy games on a rug I swear we JUST vacuumed like two days ago.

SuFami Turbo with the first four SD Gundam strategy games on a rug I swear we JUST vacuumed like two days ago.

Inspired by @didyouknowgaming.com's video and my current obsession with finally watching each Gundam series in order (ZZ is next), I figured it'd be fun to pick up a cheap SuFami Turbo and with some Gundam strategy games to play though.

Hopefully they're not too terribly long. Short is good for me!

As a fan of Star Ocean that still had to muscle through SO5 with all of its faults while looking for the silver linings, I freaking loved SO6. I didn't even get to play it on a nice system. Straight up stock PS4 with all of its glorious blurry visuals. I struggled to put it down. It's SO GOOD.

Not quite ready to move on from the SNES so I'm giving Xak a quick playthrough. Bummer the second part never got ported, but this will at least get me ready for the MSX2 trilogy and PC-88 versions on the Switch.

I think I'm on the very last boss of Lagoon for SNES, but darn if I can figure out how to damage him. I'm not sure if my strategies are poor or if I'm doing the right steps but running afoul of the awful hitboxes in this game.

Super interested in playing the X68000 version once I'm done with this!

It took me way too long to figure out how to damage the second boss in Lagoon. In the end, I discovered I could stand in this corner, spam attack, and I'd run him down before he could kill me.

As far as poor Ys clones go, this is definitely one of them!

After I finish Cold Steel 2, I'm going to have to close the loop on Lagoon.

I never finished the game back in the day and after being energized from playing through Ys III, I think I'll be able to finally do it ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Thankfully a pretty inexpensive acquisition.

Bits and bobs for the new HTPC are all assembled and I've finally got an excuse to break out the 8bitdo Saturn anniversary keyboard!

I realized how much I'd grown reliant on auto saves when I went from Trails of Cold Steel and Pirate Yakuza to Witcher 3. Over the last month, I've become a slave to the manual save.

Now I'm playing Trails of Cold Steel 2 and I can't help it, I save after every. Single. Battle.

I didn't enjoy the second at the time, but I grabbed this trilogy a year or so back and gave em all a fresh chance. Ended up really enjoying the whole set!

After sitting on my pile of shame for over 30 years, I've finally beaten Ys III on SNES. No cheats, no codes.

Just a brutal version of a great game; enemy damage and hitpoints are scaled way up, so enemies you can beat in one slash in other versions take five hits here. That last boss fight..crikey

Despite just playing through Ys III on PCE CD last week, I couldn't help myself and played through the PC-88 version available on the Switch eShop. It was neat!

The game runs worse than the backgrounds of the PCE version and the controls are imprecise, but the music was fantastic. โค๏ธ

Despite having just played through Ys III on PCE CD, I couldn't help myself and just had to check out the PC-88 version available on the Switch.

I guess one of these days I'll have to play through the Famicom and PS2 releases, but that's a problem for future me!

Picked this up ages ago but never got around to giving it a fair wag. It LOOKS like it should be my jam if I could just dedicate a bit of time to diving in headfirst.

Glad to hear you're better, even if it's still suboptimal. Keep on keepin' on and don't fuss about the netizens! Everyone will still be around for you to gab it up with when you're feeling more "you" and less "not-you". Only thing you gotta rush is prioritizing your needs and wellbeing!

I only finally got around to it myself a few years ago! Kept kicking the can down the road and eventually decided to tackle it. Pretty fun!

Shame Lure of the Temptress has been broken in SCUMMVM since the day it was added :(

I love that the Kino Lorber library is allowing me to create the 80s video store of my dreams in my living room.

Seriously considering dedicating a shelf to just Cannon films, because sometimes that's exactly what the doctor ordered

Were they good? Generally no.โŒ

Were they still awesome? Oh Yes.โœ…

Oh nevermind, I figured it out. Turns out you can slide across the gap in the air. Of course, why didn't I try that the first dozen or so times??

Figuring out bits like that is all part of the charm in really trying to clear out sections of the backlog.

I love the presentation of Valis III on PCE CD so much. I hate that I'm struggling with a jump midway through the second friggin' stage :(

Just gonna keep plugging away at it until I beat all of my PCE CD games. They've been sitting unused for way too long and that ain't right.
