Good morning. After the joy of B&Q and Wickes yesterday, today is a bike ride kinda day. It's a bit damp and drizzly at the moment so I may go out later but I will be out at some point before the slog back to the office starts again tomorrow.

Anyway, I think we have chosen the colour scheme...🤞🤞🤞🤞 until she changes her mind 🤣

So...we spent over an hour trying to decide which tester pots to get...I mean, the idea of tester pots is to buy a selection, paint a bit of each on a wall and decide which colours you like...not spend hours trying to decide which damn testers to take home 🙄

Top work from Mr Mushen 🤣 I despair at the number of tester pots we buy and yes, bring on the stripey walls 🙄 We "chose" colours last week but now "we're not sure"....

I know. It's pointless...but we have an "expectation" that we will attend the office 60% of our working days. I do it because that's what we are required to do but there seems to be no consequences for those who don't.

Yeah, I much prefer it. At least I actually have a real reason not to be in. You'd be surprised at how many people don't do their monthly days in the office and get away with it 🙄

Morning. Another day without a car so WFH again. Spoke to manager yesterday. She has adjusted my expected attendance this month so I should be able to hit the revised figure even if I WFH every day this week 👍 Nice sunny day...😜

Yeah, dreadful 🤣🤣🤣 It should be fixed today though. If it is, I will be driving halfway to work and riding a bike in the rest of the way tomorrow. Nice weather forecast and no parking space tomorrow so it's a good excuse to ride 😁 It's only 11 miles so just a warm up really 👍

Morning Mushen and Beans. Foggy start to the day here but WFH again as still without a car and Mrs B is off for RT session 3. Got a nice bike ride in the sunshine yesterday afternoon so today will be a longer work day. Have a lovely day.

The only shame is that I'll probably have to be in the office 4 days a week for the rest of March...😭

The part is due to be delivered from Vauxhall tomorrow but may not be fitted until Thursday, depending on what time it arrives.

Morning. Mrs B's radiotherapy starts today. Every weekday for the next 3 weeks. Here's hoping that's the end of it 🤞

I also forgot to mention the 4am alarm yesterday to get an early start and the torrential rain we drove through. All in all it was an absolute 💩show from start to finish 🙄

That's the plan but rain forecast so I'll see how it goes 👍

4 hours of driving, 200 miles, half a tank of petrol, £130 for the b&b and now a hefty bill on the car to follow, having paid £1000 on my other car 2 weeks ago. Suffice it to say it has not been my best weekend.

Yep. Heating in car wasn't working. Got to services and googled it. "Check coolant level". Checked it...it was nearly gone 🙄 Bought coolant. Filled it up. Leaked everywhere 🤬 Nursed car home but needs repair. Also had a b&b booked but due to late cancellation, no refund.
