I ain't even mad, Deadlock, but what are we saying here?

100 percent! I was cheesing so damn hard through this whole section it was so fun.
I really think Capcom nailed the 'feel' of Resident Evil with this one ngl
How are you liking it so far? I'm afraid to say this might be the best RE game in a decade ๐
That same exact thing happened to me ๐ I was just complaining about ray-traced mirrors in video games like a minute prior too ๐ฌ
Not going to spoil anything but Resident Evil 9 is doing everything I've wanted an RE game to do for the last decade.
Finishing it tonight. Maybe tomorrow.
My Logitech webcam just decided to stop running at 60fps for no reason and no amount of troubleshooting is convincing it it's plugged in properly, completely negating my reason for purchasing a new webcam in the process and convincing me to replace ALL my Logitech equipment
Cool!
Getting my gf into this was the funniest thing because she went from "that show disturbs me" to "dir-tee brown wa-turrrr" so fast๐
It's a shame but yeah, I get it. At least there's 3 seasons to go back to now and again
More Deadlock lately and I just love her so much
totally 100 percent as a character to build, definitely for no other reasons ๐บ๐ฅด๐
RE6 is four campaigns of this formula which says all you need to know. It all really highlights my disdain for Capcom's direction during that era
The chokehold RE4 had on the series where every game needed more siege sections, an El Gigante fight, a shop for upgrades
It's madness. It's maddening.
but these games overstay their welcome by a country mile. With RE4, the castle drags on, and THEN you get to the island.
The ruins and Excella labs drag on, and THEN you get to the tanker. AND every room is a horde of machine gunners and rocket troops, capped off with another mini boss.
Playing RE5 with my brother last 2 nights has me really understanding my issues with the 4-6 trilogy of RE games
The beginning is always very fun. Hard limits on gear and enemies make each encounter unique. It's a joy to figure out the melee system and the plot's mystery is still developing.
I've been enjoying Deadlock a bit
Crushing Fists make duking it out in a brawl SO satisfying. Like "oops sorry Rem I just deleted 1/4 of your HP from half court" is just so good.
These two standing behind Salazar like "we frew up ๐ฅด"
Haven't plugged it in a hot minute but I'm on twitch playing Resident Evil 4 (the OG!) Big chillin vibes while we count the days till RE9, drop in if you wanna hang!

Brother you just implied both Dinner AND Supper, I'd call that an improvement!
That isn't to say I'm upset and hate on RE, or Requiem, or the remakes, or any of that lol. Make no mistake I think the remakes are some damn fine games and the RE4 remake is in many ways an upgrade for me but damn, sometimes it feels like the OGs don't get no respect ๐
I know it makes sense for the development and where the franchise is as a whole but it's a bit disappointing to see the Remake canon bleed this heavily into mainline RE.
Same engine and all that, easier dev time, I get it, just sad to see the remakes completely replace the OGs for Capcom.
Gonna be so honest I'm almost 32 and I'm only just now looking into 'shake and bake' as a meal concept.
I know the common bit is Panam's ASS but when I tell you this romance path genuinely had my heart FLUTTER
Cyberpunk had some great writing, man.
Just a reminder that Kuwabara is the GOAT, now go watch Yu Yu Hakusho
I've also... NEVER... played the first game.
Resident Evil 1!
Never touched it! I've completed Remake to hell and back but never touched the game that spawned the franchise I love so much ๐
Having just played through it the other night, I can definitely see why it caught on like it did.
I had the wholly original thought of streaming the entire RE series until RE9 launches this month. Just wrapped up RE2 (Claire A Leon B ofc)! Loved it, as always!
I'm going to be going through the mainline entries first before diving into "spinoff" games. RE3 (my favorite game of all time) is next!
I was very interested in Ashes of Creation years ago. Followed every developer livestream, waited for every scrap of info we could get.
Playing it last year made me realize it wasn't going to be for me. Like, at all. Still, sucks to see the whole studio just VANISH overnight like hello?
I'm went in expecting it to be different from the game but it wasn't even a good movie ๐ญ
Despite all the warnings, I went to see Return to Silent Hill
I've never been more upset at a movie in my life LMAO
The Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 stuff we ordered last year finally arrived!
Met a real loaf of a little guy today
A solitary purple monster a day keeps the headaches away ๐ฉ
Honestly, this is a really good generator for quick character concepts regardless of the Black Company naming
You can tell a lot about a person by how other people refer to them and the kinds of things they complain about!
