adding one more thing because I keep seeing people saying this: they did not make this whole short with cel animation! they made some as reference which they then made digitally. it’s a hybrid process! mix of analogue and digital layered on top of each other until it’s indistinguishable

it’s not! they mirrored the look of cels through digital, they only made a couple of cels but it’s still remarkable that they did.

everything they told me about this project was so cool – as well as the actual book they used, they even showed me a real cel of animation which they made for reference!

also while there’s the threat of losing stuff, you pick things up just as quickly, my vault has been overflowed for the last 3 runs

just had a run go IMMEDIATELY sideways because we got jumped by the bots on the map and then more when one teammate activated an objective lol

took all health kits to survive, was a very tense run from then on (we got some reason played out the time limit after that, got out in extra time)
