I dunno tbh, but it gives me more ideas for my own Shinigami kun.
I won't pretend to know everything about the Korean afterlife (I really don't know much about Korean folklore tbh) but I wonder if the way grim reapers have significant similarities to the Japanese concept of grim reaper
I mentioned the concept of Buddhist afterlife in the previous ramble post because I saw an outstanding Manhwa that uses the existing lore for afterlife bureaucracy very succinctly with the idea of grim reapers
Like "I am the Grim Reaper" webtoon, "A Date with Death", "Shinigami-kun" (maybe? Idk), and so on and so on.
These feature a class of people who are grim reapers in charge of death, rather than just one diety in charge of death
