It’s a mix. I’ve had some videos show up several months old and some that are recent. I think it’s a mix of the algorithm still learning what I want to see and that there don’t seem to be as many creators doing YT shorts yet. Hopefully as more creators post there we will see more recent content.

YouTube shorts is pretty good for me. A couple hours of scrolling and subscribing seems to have taught the algorithm pretty well
