Aye, both games got super grindy & having top to draw an extra card each turn would have been great, it may come back. Originally the deck had Reality Chip + Etherium Sculptor for that infinite draw combo, but I found it to be too complicated of a plan B that didn't support the rest of the deck
I go back & forth with Ioreth, specifically for North Sea Patrol (for the corner case Waterbend tap down) & I think I may return to her, with Marvin + Unctus & either Urza, Mantle, or Architect for big mana + draws. Fatestitcher remains to unearth as a hasted untapper for the combo
It really is! All your creatures being looters really lends itself to Heart Of The Cards moments, digging for answers with shit on the stack :d
I think the best part is that both wins had at least one person in the pod be like "Oh shit, what a fun deck!" Like, yes it's a Thoracle combo - but Jesus Christ is it ever the most backroads way of getting there 😅
