Landing at the moment
Gray USAF C-130. Thanks to the camera's shutter is looks like it's powered off, but irl it's still idling for taxi. Each of its four props are 6 bladed units, which means technically this is a "super" hercules. These C-130s also featured 4 underslung tanks, the outer ones equipped for aerial refueling ops.
Close in side view of the C-130. The radome in the front features another fancy camera unit slung underneath. The original C-130 had a fully round front end with no nose, but interestingly enough modern airframes never redesigned the nose to make it smooth with the radar integrated
Rear underwing shot of the C-130. The outer wing tank can be seen with the felt style refueling prop tucked in. Despite its fantastic short field performance the C-130 has a simple wing: straight planform, normal ailerons, fowler flaps, zero leading edge devices.
Side view of the C-130 Hercules
Here's some of my C-130 stills from the other day. While I'm glad I caught both of their take-offs I wished they stayed longer so I could walk around them. This holds the record for largest prop plane that visited work, so learning more about it would be awesome. #avgeek
